What began as a one-man workshop in East Berlin is today a modern manufacturing company with over 60 years of experience. We build tools, inject plastic parts and develop our own products — all under one roof, with a team that understands its craft.
History
Over 60 years of Weiland
From a workshop in East Berlin to a modern manufacturing complex. Every step was a decision for quality and craftsmanship.
- 1965
Founded in East Berlin
Master toolmaker Joachim Weiland opens his first workshop with a clear vision. Precision and reliability are not goals — they are the foundation.
- 1975
First Injection Moulding Machine
The workshop gains a second pillar. Tool making and injection moulding grow together under one roof.
- 1992
Relocation to Hoppegarten
A newly built company complex in the commercial area on the eastern outskirts of Berlin. Room for growth, space for innovation.
- 2005
Business Expansion
New buildings are constructed. The machine park is modernised. Weiland grows, but remains focused on quality.
- 2010
New Generation
The handover to the next generation. Son Martin Weiland takes over the company from his father.
- 2015
Innovation Award 2015
Brandenburg Innovation Award for Plastics and Chemistry for the development of a modular pump head system.
- 2025
Acquisition by Avena
Sale of the company for succession reasons to Avena, an industrial holding from Munich specialising in business successions.
